Thank god! I still wish they would have put a standard controls option in SS. The motion stuff was my least favorite part (other than aiming that's great to have motion for). The Wii lagged too much behind my movements so I would be swinging and Link either wouldn't react or hold his sword awkwardly in a direction after I had already swung. It got really annoying and the flying got so tedious constantly having to steer the damn thing with such inprecise (or too precise idk but it didn't feel natural) controls.

then don't state the obvious if your answer is sarcasm.

What we don't do is start off and say we're going to develop a new game in X series or what are we going to do with it?" bull crap. thats exactly what they do. im not attacking the quality of the games and im not attacking nintendo. but that statement is just full of bull crap. what he is saying is that they think of idea's for any type of game then decide what game it works for? thats just a load of nonesense. we all know how nintnedo will never stop milking its big franchises and they start off exactly with saying "we're going to develop a new game in X series". |
Actually I think you are dead wrong. Just look at mario sunshine for example.

His response is directed to people who think Nintendo cares more about their consumers than their money which a lot of people here think (or at least from what I have seen). |
they do care honestly. Earthbound for example. Or the question which Zelda game fans would love to see the most for 3ds.
Creating new gameplay mechanic? Applying it to existing franchises? Nah, Nintendo is just catching up to Sony's copying strategy.

I don't even think Sideway NY was the first and I think it is pretty neat in Zelda...even if it doesn't make any sense as to why right now. But it definetly isn't some new gameplay mechanic.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
