since Europe is Sony strongest territory, they should focus on keep EU happy, but letting XB get a head start in US is also a bad decision... hope they can do them both this year!

Nintendo said this about the DS in relation to the GBA, and it was obviously not true

This could explain why Gran Turismo 6 is rumored to be only on PS3. Then there's games like Grand Theft Aufo V in September........PS3 still has a lot of life left. Abandoning it so soon would be a mistake. It's best for Sony to maximize profits on PS3 while they still can and sell as many games as possible. PS4 won't be mainstream until it drops down to about $300.

You're seriously comparing Sony's business strategies to Nintendos?
this makes me worried that they wont release it worldwide this year and just in USA and japan

PS4 is definitely going to be the successor to the PS3- they're just suggesting that they won't completely leave the PS3 during the transition

LOL @ the marketing lingo.
Does that mean Sony plans again for a later release in europe, or will they get it this time right?

Not really. Look at how many games are still coming to PSP.(at least in Japan) Look at how God of War 2 came out in March 2007....PS3 was already out by then. The game sold well on PS2 and kept the PS2 relevant for a while longer.
Look at how much trouble Nintendo is having supporting the Wii U....if they had at least released 1 more major 1st party game on the Wii then people would at least have something to play. Not everyone wants to "upgrade" to an expensive system with a small library of games.

Exactly.
