I like Sony's PS3, in my opinion in regards to what type of games I like Sony have the best first party games.
Also, unlike Nintendo or Microsoft, Sony is more willing to try risky things of funding new franchises.

Just look at David cages Heavy rain, and now beyond two souls, look at Demon Souls and The last of US. Hell take a look at Sony exclusive games from the start of the generation we had Resistance, Motorstorm, heavenly sword and the Uncharted Series all new franchises. Just some games where Sony has put a hefty amount of money to make them.

Some have done better than others but that does not take away from the fact that Sony has at least invested heavily in new Franchises to try bring new game experiences to the market.

All Nintendos been doing as of late is rehashing the NSMB franchise over and over, they also love putting their well established characters into games, how about they invest the same money they do on Mario games and try to make a new franchise with new characters, you know like try being creative!
Look I'm sure Nintendo has ideas for new franchises floating around but I don't know what it is that's stopping them, it ain't money cuz their floating in it. I'm not advocating the stopping of Mario games, they can continue to be made, but Nintendo can mix it up with new experimental franchises...I mean on the Wii you had the Wii Sports and Wii fit franchises, then they just stopped and purely relied on their past franchises...kinda a shame, hopefully Nintendo will step it up on the WiiU but i'm pessimistic about this but we'll see.

As for Microsoft, they're fucked, I don't know what the hell they where thinking when they almost killed all their 1st party stuff. I mean they started strong with new Franchises like gears of War, alan Wake, ViVa pinata, and banjo kazooie nuts and bolts...then it's like they stopped caring and just lived with halo, gears, Forza and fable franchises. They then essentially killed fable with that Kinect game...but at least they got Dance centuraland a couple of other Kinet games which rare is making. but for the last few years no big new franchise is coming out of Microsoft, like with Nintendo I don't want them to stop making the games they are now, but Microsoft has the money to fully fund new franchises.

I don't intend for this to come across as hating on Nintendo and Microsoft, I just want to point out and make a comparison as to Why I like Sony consoles and how Sony approaches new franchises which as a gamer I want new and fresh gaming/story experiences, and thus far Sony seems to be the only one willing to provide me this.

In any case, this is just my opinion you may take it as you please.
