wrong post. Never mind

Really wonder what's causing those AC numbers to dip. Tomodachi competition?

Saturation is the answer. One 3DS owner out of three owns Animal Crossing. That's a huge attach rate.

Drop is probably due to the fact that it is nearing 40% of Japanese user base. Might see a bump from Golden Week (not even sure what this is). Wikipedia here I come.
Pretty much a slow week all around except for Luigi, who seems to be unaffected by the pre-wolden week effect.
As for the rest, you know it's slow when Wario and DQX for WiiU are still charting XD
Dat, Run for money, and the expectations were 300.000, lol.
Well I guess this will end the "supply constrained" argument from Sony fans to mask the poor post-price cut Vita sales.
Anyways nothing did too well this week so not a lot comment.

Some of them are selling better, like 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, and Fire Emblem. Others are not selling as well, like NSMB, Brain Age, and Nintendogs. |
I dunno - I think Animal Crossing DS sold 5M, Mario Kart DS sold 3M in Japan. Luigi's Mansion wasn't around the previous gen so it's hard to compare. So, yeah, overall, the casuals aren't biting as much.
Great numbers for Luigi's Mansion 2. Poor hardware numbers, but 3DS should go up next week.

While I don't think that vita being supply constrained has effected vita sales as much as people claim, it will continue having shortages in Japan until the end of April. Someone from Sony made an official statement about it, so it's not like it's been fixed and people still don't buy vitas. In other words, your argument doesn't hold any water at the moment, though I do think you will be proven right after golden week. Right now, it's nothing more than an assumption.

Why would it end when Sony themselves said that the console wont be restocked until the end of the month...*checks calendar*
