Forums - Sony - Sony unveils the fastest home internet connection

This is at work on a good day. So much fail for a software company. I think home is 20 down, 1 up.

Around the Network

Cool but surely there's no noticeable difference between 100 MB and 2GB speeds at this point. Only downloading very large files will benefit, watching HD video and streaming won't benefit so much as internet is already fast enough.

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

'When the people are being beaten with a stick, they are not much happier if it is called the people's stick'- Mikhail Bakunin

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

well at least I have it better then some of you.

mine is "Supposed" to be 7 Mb/s but my ISP is a shitty ISP that blocks sites (porn sites + Skype + any competition) and charges absurd amount of money and eats some mega bits from you because , why not?

kuwait has better internet connection than qatar?? wtf??

How much do you pay for it?

250 QR which is abt 68$

we actually dont have any choice there is just qtel and vodafone and both cost almost the same

I have a nominally "high" speed for the UK (2Mb/s), but ping in the 200-500ms range that makes online game unplayable and video streaming disconnect frequently.

even for 10 people (soho) it would be overkill.

just did a test, and, meh, this is more than enough for any browsing/downloading/video game hosting. can't imagine 2gbps

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
