Back in 2004 it was a healthier franchise, but that is no longer the case. Have you really forgotten Twilight Princes? |
Back in 2004 it wasn't even a franchise yet, one game does not make a franchise...

lolz! True dat xD
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
Zelda fanbase < 1m.
Fable was bigger until 2006, then reclaimed the throne in 2009, then lost it again in 2012.
Well, this thread was quite usefull. And this two statements - not my thoughts.
So deal with it.
Average sales per game - Zelda
Higher console tie ratio - Zelda
Non-bundled sales - Zelda
Merchandising - Zelda
Pop culture - Zelda
Longer history - Zelda
Metacritic average - Zelda
If you added a poll to this thread - Zelda
The answer to your question - Zelda.
Deal with it.

This is one of Vgchartz's weirdest dicussion out there. Seriously now, I love the Fable franchise, but Zelda is bigger and better by a mile away.
We haven't seen a new Fable game since 2010, and damn look at all those Zelda games.

Fable has been bundled for the duration of its time this whole gen (and possibly last gen as well). I cannot remember the last Zelda bundled from Nintendo that I actually played. Microsoft was pretty much giving away Fable 2 and Forza 3 for free in Xbox 360 boxes. The same goes for Fable 3.
