Forums - Gaming Discussion - whats the most emotional game you ever played?

Deadly Premonition strangely enough.

Super Metroid

Isolation is a strong emotion plus that feeling when ***SPOILERS*** the baby metroid dies to save you. And you save the little creatures during your escape.

I would say Deadly Premonition is emotional, and brutally twisted sometimes. But the most emotional game you've ever played? Really?

Metal Gear Solid 4

It was the only game that ever did anything emotionally to me. It will never happen again though

Red dead redemption - those final chapter were really touching
And mass effect - i killed tali, i got so pissed off.

I stumbled across this many years ago and your post just reminded me of this game (and in turn this version of this song) again.  Thanks for that!

My god the games people are listing are ridiculous, Uncharted 2? Is that a joke....Tomb Raider 2013!!?

I'll have a go...

Phoenix Wright series.
Layton series.
Chrono Cross
Eternal Sonata
Star Ocean Till The End of Time
Chrono Trigger
Phantasy Star IV
Resonance of Fate

Do you have a problem with someone elses opinion?

Super Princess Peach.

I mean, the game was focused around emotions!

Actually Braid, really fucked me up at the end there.

Haven't played many "emotional" games.

But I'd have to go with either Okami or Metroid Prime.
