Forums - PC - Getting a Gaming Laptop. What should I look for?

thanks will have a look at that 670 gtx.  The list only considers low profile, where the back bracket is half size a normal back panel bracket so it can fit into smaller cases.

I'm aware.
This is what I was referring to: http://www.engadget.com/2013/04/04/asus-geforce-gtx-670-directcu-mini-graphics-card/

With the right CPU/Ram. No reason not to have all games maxxed on that thing at 1080P even in a Mini-ITX HTPC.
However, it *is* $500 give or take here in Australia, so it ain't cheap.

Also a company called "AFOX" has been releasing Small Form Factor cards for awhile now, I remember a SFF Radeon 6850 and this 7850:

Not sure how reliable the brand is though.

...Suddenly I want to rebuild my HTPC. Damn the upgrade bug and it's mother!

If I had the money, I'd certainly buy a Clevo W110ER. Based on what you said, this machine probably fits you. It's a 11.6" ultraportable with an i7 and GT 650M. Should run every game on the market on high settings if you tune down the resolution a bit. Also, it will have no problems with Dolphin either. You can find it for about $1000.
