Really? I wonder how are you going to back that up.

I think it is pretty know the JRPG users are in PlayStation.
The JRPGs sells better on PS3 than Wii or 360... a Dragon Quest on PS3 will sell better than Wii or 360... it is like Final Fantasy.
Plus the PS3 users are more used to online play than Wii users... MMO is suppose to to better on PS3 than Wii.
JRPG + MMO = PS3
PS. I removed the portables because a MMO needs very good online play and the portables didn't have it yet (I expect better online play with portables with 4G devices).

You just typed your feelings, but that's not backing up your arguments.
JRPG did fare better on the PS3 than on the Wii, but we aint' talking about any particular RPG, it's bloody DQ, even you can't deny that if the game is good it will sell loads regardless of the device. It's like Pokemon, if it were released on PSV, you think millions of japanese are going to say "Oh f**k it, I'm not supporting a Sony device, I'm skipping Pokemon"? Probably some will do, but the game will sell millions of copies.
Now regarding online experience. I think you are assuming that Japanese have the same habits as western gamers, and you are ignoring MH Tri, for god's sake!
Finally, MMO are a different beast. 600k is hardly a bad number, subscriptions are all that matter. The kid's time exist because of what DQ represents for Japanese society, and even S-E knows better than to charge kids, and they should've included that into their expectations. I think that they are overestimating their games all over around, if they thought they were going to pull a WoW out of DQX they deserve this.
