Will you be using it?

If it's as good as Hulu or better, yes!!!! I personally wanted Microsoft to purchase Hulu, for the content agreements, if nothing else.

I guess if MS puts enough money into it.

Not even.
I want a true IPTV service. I want to be able to watch my local stations, as if they were a single streamed broadcast, but in reality it's made up of many components including a live broadcast (news), recorded commercials both local and national, and a current stream of a national broadcast (a TV show airing at 8:00PM) with both local and national commercials intersilled between blocks of the program. And then the following day, I want to watch each of those blocks of programming (the news broadcast locally and the national episodic TV show) in and on-demand situation. Not only that, but I want to be able to watch full libraries of series that I like. Hulu does part of it, but it doesn't do live TV as it's happening.
If a company, any company, were to create it, I'd be happy. Microsoft is just the one company that seems to really understand what IPTV is. It isn't a broadcast stream pushed down a IP-based service. It also isn't a service like Hulu that only provides on-demand content. True IPTV is the combination of the two. Live content along with on-demand content.
