The numbers are fine either way. Far from a flop. And yeah, again, I am well aware that the UU numbers would be lower. Not everyone has an agenda.

First 20 weeks... Halo 3 - 7,250m Halo - Reach -7,288m Halo 4 - 7,975m You set your expectations for Halo unreasonably high so you can spin it as a failure. It really is kinda sad. Even if these sales are low for what you anticipated. I'm pretty sure its good enough to keep the series going. |
Never said the sales were low. Read the OP.

I'm responding to your post where you said the Halo 4 sales are "not remarkable" and "low." It just shows how unrealistic your expectations are. Especially considering how many IPs we've seen decline this gen.

NEVER. SAID. SALES. WERE. LOW. Go back and re-read the comment I am replying to. I said the active playerbase is low considering the game sold 8m.

For me what changed in the wrong way in the Halo 4 MP: - Loadouts segregate player base and negate player skill This is definitely not true since the loadouts all have equally powered weapons. This isn't like CoD where you can start with any weapon, you get a few equally powered weapons to choose from. In fact it's one of my favorite new features since now I don't have to do an annoying hunt for a BR at the beginning of every spawn.
This is so untrue to the point of absurdness. Grenades are ridiculous. If anything they are slightly overpowered.
Again not true, each skill has advantages and disadvantages and they can be quite helpful. It's like a big rock, paper, scissors game.
This is seriously just laughable. Vehicles are the most balanced they have ever been in a Halo game.
Not really. In fact, Halo 4 has the least amount of camping I have ever seen in a Multiplayer game. And for those that do want to camp you just whip out the Forunner Vision and own them.
What? Pointless argument point since it's just a superficial addittion. Not to mention a lot of the armor in the game looks beast.
How? Seriously; I don't see it.
For the most part yes. It does have a couple of really good maps though. It's much better than Reach overall and unfortunately I think bad maps seems to be a common trend among MP games today. Everything that makes Halo MP AWESOME and UNIQUE is not present in Halo 4 MP... it is a good MP but no more awesome... it is more like CoD now (for CoD I have CoD). |
I just felt that I had to respond to these points because they are mostly wrong.

I played the first Halo online through Xbox connect BEFORE there was even such a thing as Xbox Live and was as die hard as they come for that franchise. But once Bungie walked away, that franchise died in my mind. Everything is different and it doesn't feel like Halo for ME.

If there are wrong then why the gamers are not playing Halo 4 MP? I just listed what I think is bad in the MP compared to Halo 3. |
Too many big maps and no proper ranking system.
