I can't really think of a reason that could force him, before it was his daughter. When he stayed behind to slow the pursuers down it seemed like he was willing to sacrifice his life for his daughters.

pftt, a clever way to revie your thread xD. Yao Fei never seems to catch a break though. I'm glad oliver saved walter and wow can't believe merlin was the one who ordered the death of olivers father. We finally find out what the undertaking is too.

Wow you're right. Somehow I never connected them together lol. The device for the undertaking seems a bit weird. Is it suppose to be some device that cause seismic activity so they can sink the glades?

loool plus who else would it be? merlin is the source of all evil in the city and i honestly dont know how the device will do anything. this is something i cant wait for, i hope its believable though, because if it isnt it will really bug me

@other post- by handle i mean updates, polls, thread tittles or anything. ill start adding previews to the next episode, could you help me out and link me to them though? i never watch previews as i am very afraid of spoilers

I don't really think merlyn is evil. He seems to think he is doing the right thing by getting rid of the trash that plagues his city after what happened to his wife too. It prob will be atleast somewhat believable. I mean in this arrow universe, it seems pretty grounded in reality for the most part.

and thats why the characters are awesome. merlyn is the "bad guy" but he believes he is being the good guy, making the tough choices to "save" the city, his methods arent the nice methods. but heck what he is trying to do is the same thing ollie is, saving the city. thats why i am so in love with the story, nobody is evil just for the sake of it, everybody is the hero in their own eyes

True, major char for the most part think they are doing good. The glads themselves needs to change though. That area is literally full of criminals, though there are normal people living there too. It just seems really bad there by what we have heard.

I missed the episode on Wednesday and just now finally got to watch it. What a packed episode, as we finally find out what the Undertaking is, find out the truth behind the Queen's Gambit, as well as the return of Walter. That was a very good episode, even with the lack of any island footage.

Yeah, idk.  We at least know ollie lives since he got off the island.  I'm waiting for that one thing that sparks Ollie to become a badass.

Ollie lives? no way man! spoiler alert!

well from what i am seeing it isnt one thing that makes him a bad ass right away. he is slowly learning and slowly becoming one. 

I think there will be something that will happen to him on the island that will bring out his inner badassery to where he will learn a lot faster than he is now.

Well, the timeline so far is that he has been on the island for under a year (I believe it was something like 7-8 months), correct? Don't forget that he was on the island for a total of 5 years, so there's plenty of time for Oliver to become a total badass like he is now.

Oh yeah, no doubt.  I just think something will bring it out even more.  He's kinda like a cold blooded killer if you think about it(even though he has a purpose) and he's not like that as of now on the island.  I hope season 2 brings about even more scenes from the island.

I did!!!  It was a pretty good episode too.  Season finale's of this, TVD, and Supernatural are gearing up to be awesome.
