Nonsense. Bayonetta 2 Wii U is being DELAYED to release in tandem with the other consoles. Lego City is also being retroactively delayed.

Yeah just like Mass Effect 1 and Ninja Gaiden 2 and what happened in the end?   As long as the platform holder is not the IP owner anything can happen with the game.
