Ok, lets say you're a plus memeber, download LBP2, let your membership expire and buy the physical copy. Will you be able to pick up right where you left off? Or are the save files independent of eachother?

Your saves are in your save folder listed above where the games are on your PS3's XMB. You can even copy them onto a usb drive or using PS+ back them up on the cloud.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
So yeah, saves are not tied to a game physical or digital.
