Exactly how the Title says.. how far will it go? Its Currently at 33.55mil (probably undertracked) and growing. This year it has grown sales over 270k.

● Reasons that it will continue to grow (kinda of obvious)

⇒ Its Mario Kart (yeah its a reason)
⇒ Price Point is still at $40 meaning its not even at its low point yet
⇒ Wii U is backward Compatible
⇒ Mario Kart Wii U isn't out yet
⇒ DS version is still selling well despite being older

So what do you guys think? Will stop at 35mil? 36mil? Possibly go to 40mil?

35Mil. I don't think any game has the legs to sell well for 5 years.

Didn't realize it was so high. I did buy a 2nd new copy this week as my kids scratched the original copy beyond playable. Amazing game, deserves the sales. Crazy that it's still almost full price too.

i wouldn't count on it. Mario has that effect, EX NSMB (DS) almost 8 years old still selling and to make it better its selling at full price O.o

Theres pretty much no way it will hit 40 million but I can see 35-36.

i didn't put 34mil cuz b4 the holidays even start it'll pass 34mil. WITH holiday months it can pull an extra 500k-800k alone. Proof? 272k in less than 3 months O.O

nintendo's backward compatibility always helps them out. 35mil to me is the least i see it doing. 34.3mil - 34.8mil is wat i see for this year imo. I think lifetime end around 36.5mil That $40 price still though, NSMB is worse, 8 years old game still selling for full price

Maybe, you're right. It appears I've become quite pessimistic and bitter recently.

Once the wiiu  mariokart comes out (which may be this year) I think the drop off will be pretty bad for the wii mario kart. Still 35-36mill is incredible.
