zelda definately. ocarina of time > TP > all mario games, IMO.
mario just doesnt have the same epic feeling as zelda.

I kind of hate the original 2D Mario games, soooo... Zelda.

Zelda, by the tiniest amount. The margin was huge for me until Galaxy came out. Now it's only Zelda by a fingernail.
Wear gaudy colours or avoid display. It's all the same.
Be warned, I will use walls of polysyllables and complex clauses as a defence against lucid argument.
