Then you see a bunch of new first party titles that lacks character and charisma, reason why they die after the first iteration.

and if i don't like something, I keep it to myself until someone aske me, and my answer will be: it is good but i prefer another product. I will never be offensive against other products.

Hilariously ironic

I fail to see the joke :/

OT: Ryan when you hate Nintendo, we know you do, what do you do? Serious existential question there, mate.

Besides Coca-Cola, for being the symbol of the imperialism of capitalism, I do not really wish any company to fail. :P

Nah, seriously, it's quite fucked up to wish that. Yes, corporations are impersonal, but one must never forget that people's job are at stake. And even if the industry is filled with assholes, they are still people.

I don't hate any gaming company.

i love nintendo but i enjoy my 360 and ps3 also. the existence of sony and microsoft makes nintendo do new and better things.
the ones i hate are EA and maybe activision.

Why? That's about the most shallow, dumbest thing I've ever heard a gamer say. And it's the internet, I've seen/heard a LOT of stupid shit.

As a gamer, as a person, I don't care for Microsoft's consoles, and was very unhappy to hear them get into the race in the first place. I think it has been nothing but bad for the business for the industry to be taken over by giant corporate conglomrates who happen to have a video games division. I think things were much better off when it was Nintendo and Sega, or even Nintendo, Sega and Atari. Or hell, even NEC/Hudson Soft. Why? Because most of those companies ONLY made games, they were gaming companies who put out consoles, not corporate giants who decided they wanted to get into the games market as ANOTHER way to try and make some cash.

Having said that, I own a PS2 and PS3, though I didn't run out to buy either. All iterations of the Playstation brand have had at least some games I liked or wanted to play, though in many cases they could have/should have also come to Nintendo consoles. But I will never own an Xbox of any kind, because I don't like the company, don't care for the systems, hate the controller, and quite frankly none of their exclusives have ever appealed to me. HOWEVER, that hardly means I sit around hoping for MS to die off. Would it bother me if the Xbox brand went belly up and never returned? Not in the slightest. But I'm not going to waste my time and energy HOPING they fail. That's childish and stupid.

Saying you'd at least smile a little if Nintendo, a company that been around making games and consoles longer than just about anybody, and a company who has made more groundbreaking franchises and made more innovation in the industry over the years than anyone else, failed and had to go 3rd party? That's just sad. Saying you'd rather own one of the other consoles, that you prefer them, whatever, that's your taste, your opinion, your choice. But to say you'd be at least somewhat happy if Nintendo, the last GAMES only 1st party console maker, the last remnant of the old guard, more or less died off? Sorry man. That's beyond gamer shit....that's just plain dumb.

i dont want them to die i want them to stop making consoles lol. that doesnt mean failure. they could make a lot more money making games only imo

Nintendo is the last console maker that only makes games.

I would like to see other video game companies make consoles.
