FF4 on the DS was an abomination on the original. Why they decided to go with crude 3D graphics rather than the beautiful 2D art from the classic is still beyond me.

So is DQ11 on 3DS pretty much a given now?

I'd actually like them to do a FF6 remake for 3DS. I'd totally buy that.

As long as Square doesn't come forth with the "The Luminous Engine won't provide support for the WiiU" popular line from nowadays, I guess the possibility is there still.

I thought FFIV DS was pretty hot, granted I didn't play the original version but surely it couldn't have been that much different asside from the graphics.

Also, can anyone answer mah previous question plox? Hearing lot's of hate on DQX being MMO so I'd like to hear the reasons behind it.

Does Square care? They have been more than happy without Nintendo since the N64 days when they dumped us via a phone call instead of properly dumping us in person. I am mostly talking about Consoles. Dont tell me that they out in any effort in Nintendo games between the :nd of the Snes and DQX.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy (being localize and getting Sequel)

Final Fnatasy Crystal Chronicles New

Final Fantasy Tactics A 3D

Kingdom Hearts 3 was hinted to be on the a Duo Screen system by the man who makes & decides each Kingdom Hearts game inside and out.

Chocobo racing 3D

 

Dragon Quest Terry's Wonderland (Nintendo will probably localize)

 

SO I think Square cares plenty, and we got New stand alone Final Fantasy games to look forward too.

Is that true (the bolded part)?

The guy who makes all the Kingdom Hearts games (the composer I suppose) who also decides what system each new game will be on......well, he said; Reality Shift in KH3D gives you an idea of a New gameplay mechanic I have come with, that will be exclusively in the long awaited Kingdom Hearts 3.

 

So after he said that, I was thinking real hard about his statement because Reality Shift has different functionalities in each world and I really wanted to figure out an idea of what it could be, and I came to the only conclusion that I could, which is the bottom screen working with the top screen because it's the only thing that each Reality Shift has in common. And that's why I think he was really hinting at what system it would be on, instead of what kind of new gameplay mechanic he has come out with for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3.

I think Square will continue to make stuff like Crystal Chronicles because they are cheap to make and they know there are fans who want it.

Ouch. This thread insults Bravely Default and Kingdom Hearts.

If you ask me, Square-Enix's Japanese games have been quite good on Nintendo platforms as of late.
