Vita - 50 mil
Wii U - 45 mil

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

WiiU-40m
Vita-30m

WiiU 46m
Vita 42m

With handhelds declining in all markets but Japan due to the rise of smartphones and tablets, and the loss of many casual customers for Nintendo consoles due to the same reason, I feel I might be being a little generous for both devices...

I don't think either of them are even close to doomed. The Wii U will build a library of major Nintendo first-party games and still do well over the holidays, while the Vita continues to rack up games of all types (I want Terraria)--all the Vita really needs, in my opinion, is for developers to switch over from PSP support, which is slowly happening.

I think they will both end up in the 40-45M range. The Vita, especially, will be around for a long time.
