Unbelievable. How on earth can it look like CGI and run on a GTX680?

Just the other day I thought Frostbite 3 would be the king but I have to bow down and concede that UE4 is the best next gen graphics engine.

On a GTX680.... wow.

Just keep waiting lol. We haven't seen ND's in-house engine, nor Santa Monica's, nor whatever 343 will be using, and we know about cryengine 3, but crytek have yet to show us what it can really do on the right hardware. All 4 of these guys (and a whole bunch more) produced games that visually surpassed any UE3 game with the exception of maybe Gears j/3.

Don't you hate it when a tech demo is so cool you want it to be a game or a movie, but it's never going to be more than a tech demo?

Asked directly if its brand new Infiltrator demo could run on next-gen console, Epic vice president Mark Rein replied:

"Well, let's put it this way. Last year we saw the Elemental demo running on the same piece of hardware and this year we saw the Elemental running on PS4, so I'd say draw your own conclusions... The feeling around Epic on Infiltrator is that this is the pipeline, this is the way we're going to work, making games that are going to have this kind of feel to them, this much detail, this many shadows and it'll just get better and better as we optimise the engine further and further."

considering how downgraded Elemental looked when they showed it on PS4 from the 680 demo, the conclusion I must draw is that they will need to noticeably downgrade it visually.

I agree, but even with some downgrades it still looks amazing. And "it'll just get better and better as they optimise the engine further and further"

Seeing as QD are working on a game called (or associated with) "Singularity" for PS4, Kara might be more than just a demo.

I read the artice. That's a bit of a stretch, but at least it's something to hope for, thanks :)

From all of this next gen crap (Unreal 4, Battlefield 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, Killzone SF) only Killzone will look better in real life on your TV then in thoes videos.

Battlefield 4 demo uses Radeon 7990 (1300 USD)

Unreal 4 demo uses Nvidia Titan (800 USD)

MGS V runs on PC of unknown configuration.

Killzone Shadow Fall PS4 (not more then 600 USD for complete set).

We're close enough to E3 that I now only care to see real games.
