Luigi was on top in COMG and COMG is Sony skewed. I thought Tsutaya was actually more Nintendo skewed.

Luigi was on top in COMG and COMG is Sony skewed. I thought Tsutaya was actually more Nintendo skewed.


They aren't really Nintendo skewed per say, but they are "family friendly" and that means popular names do well. That includes things like One Piece and many Nintendo games. Niche titles tend to rank much lower, I guarantee Atelier Meruru will be higher than #18 on Media Create.

I think what this says more than anything else is that One Piece and Luigi's Mansions numbers must be relatively close.

40k? I really doubt. It can sustain at 35k like last week, or drop 5~10k, but bump?

3DS has lost a bit of software momentum going into this year. Looking through Famitsu's list of upcoming planned/announced games per system, we get some interesting results. No download only games, no HD/low price rereleases, no limited editions, or other crap like that:

PS3 = 69

PSP = 67

PSV = 59

DS = 0

3DS = 46

Wii = 2

WiiU = 19

X360 = 34

To be fair a lot of the PSP games are visual novel type games, while Vita has mostly real games.

Not saying VN/adventure games are bad, I like them too. Just Vita has the more traditional types like RPG or action.
