This man is a visionary and a genius!

and why is that?

Because his game is the greatest thing since sliced bread, and because absolutely f@$#ing NOBODY ever went “i wish this had 2nd screen that is smaller and a different aspect ration and touch but not 3D.” And because he's right about Monster Hunter is exactly like Phantasy Star Online. And because it’s too bad the vita isnt a bigger hit because hardware wise it’s PERFECT. it has ONE AWESOME SCREEN, and TWO JOYSTICKS. The math doesn't lie, you know.

No dual analog is a major blunder in the hardware design. They should have learned from the problems psp had. Instead they give it a single nub.

The controls by default.

Bigger and more varied world (512MB vs 128MB ram) and textures like they werent ripped from a PS2 game.

The controls? That's absolutely laughable.

I'm sorry you have not played MH3U on the 3DS, I'm not even sure you have held a 3DS at all, but it's really comfortable to use. With the CPP it's even better and you have the very handy touchscreen all the time.

The controls would not be better on Vita, it's just an excuse people cling on because they are upset they didn't get the game on their platform of choice.

I said by default. Without that rediculous looking add on.

And yes, I have played MHP3 on the PSP and have owned a 3DS. The controls are not be optimal without a secondary stick (moreso on a standard 3DS since you can't claw grip it). Why would you even argue about this, most third person 3D games work a lot better with a secondary stick for controlling the camera. Especially when you need to focus on your enemies and people/surroundings around you.

And no, I dont have any bias since I do not have a Vita and I could not care less about MH.

Have you ever held a vita at all?  The controls would deffinitely be better, to say the controls are laughable and the same is astonishing, it far outweighs the 3ds with the circle pad which isn't even a  joystick so you can't even compare, you even bring in the CPP which is an ADDON AND DOESN'T COME WITH THE 3DS. With that is still doesn't beat 2 joysticks so he has a very valid reason and it sounds like you are making the excuse.

I have not played MH3U on 3DS. I have played many 3DS and Vita games and MH:FU on PSP. How is having a second joystick (by default, not requiring a second attachment) to control the camera a bad thing? Obviously Capcom thought it was a good control scheme as they added support for the CPP. So again, how would the controls not be better by having a second joystick?

The controls of Monster Hunter on the PSP were just as bad...WITHOUT the option to fix them :P

True, but there was no better handheld option available at the time.

People need to realize that the Vita version would have been barely any different than what the 3DS version is. The biggest evidence for this statement is MH4.

Phil Fish is one of the worst tools in gaming industry, so no one should really be upset, or paying any attention actually to what he has to say about any matter.

Nobody ever said that because nobody knows what an aspect ration is.
