Do you like Nintendo?

I decided to make this thread since Nintendo fans have been asked to prove a lot of these days.  My proof isn't too solid but I am merely just asking a question.  Hopefully, you guys won't be offended that you have to show your Nintendo loyalty badge when you vote.

This thread has now officially become the Nintendo Fan Club thread!  You no longer have to prove your loyalty!  You can share your past Nintendo gaming experiences, history, or anything else Nintendo related.

My gaming past -

I grew up during the 80s and the first system I had a chance to play was the Atari 2600.  Eventually, I got my hands on the NES (probably mid - late 80s) and that is when my gaming addiction went to new heights.  My basement flooded (Atari 2600 was on the ground where it got soaked so we got insurance money (had a ton of games and they gave us about 5 dollars per game and 20 or so for system) and we went to the store and we ended up going with the Sega Genesis over the TG-16 (I was intrigued by the TG-16) mainly because of Sonic.  So this is where I jumped ship from Nintendo and didn't come back till after I got rid of my PS1.  Goldeneye 007 was on of the main reasons why I ditched Sony and ended my teenage mentality that Nintendo was only for kids (reinforced by Sega on a daily basis till their death from the hardware industry).  After the N64 I never looked to any other company for home / hand held consoles.  I had a Game Gear during the 90s and it was pretty awesome besides having to leave it plugged into the wall in order to conserve batteries.  However, getting my first Game Boy was probably one of the most exciting times of getting a hand held for me.  Loved the GBA, DS, and now the 3DS.

I was also into computer gaming a lot during the late 80s and early 90s (still a little but not as much as I used to).  I started on the 286 and then had a 386 (my dad's computer).  So I was gaming during the DOS days and early modem days (14.4, 28, 56k).  I even had an ISDN to play Tribes 1 while almost everyone was still using a 56k or less connection (let me just say it gave me a decent advantage when it came to lagging).

If you aren't a Nintendo fan then please do not post in this thread.

I haven't stuck a fork in the WiiU yet.

Gamecube and Gameboy Advance are my number 1 and 2 game systems of all time

You showed your badge when you voted right?  We can't afford to have voter fraud.

Born in 1984 and the nes was my first system. Parents loved the mario and zelda. Had my 7th Birthday at my house and my entire little league baseball team over and I had super mario bros 3, and of course there was one kid that could beat it. Amazing times.  I remember we couldn't leave the house to go places until my dad finished his lives on mario. The last relevant system they had was the N64. OOT was amazing during Christmas Break 1998, Majora's Mask was good, but it didn't quite have the same magic. Golden Eye. I remember being at someones house and they had all been playing the game for months and it was my first time and I went like 1-9 everytime. I got that game for Easter and played it everyday and unlocked 00 Agent challenges for each mission. Getting that silver pp7 on the train was tough. I got amazingly good, I came back to that house in the summer and beat everyone 10-0 everytime.

Perfect Dark was to me, the best looking game I had ever seen then. The forums every day in the summer of 2000, the laptop gun and all those challenges. Lots of fun.

But I was in Hs when gta III came out for Playstation. That was a magical time. I've never had any interest in a Nintendo System since. And just my opinion but every Gen Playstation has been around, they've had the best overall game library. Especially the ps2 which is the greatest and most succesful console we will ever see.  So yea, I guess I used to be a Nintendo fan, but those days are over. Now I honestly Can't stand Nintendo and would have to be given money to take a wii u.

i use my Wii U more than my; pc ps3 vita 360 ipad. I use it for surfing the web, internet tv, and games. Wii U is my 100% goto media.

I have a Virtual Boy in my parents' basement...
Does that prove anything???

Have a nice day...

I own every Nintendo system that has come out since the NES (except the Virtual Boy) and I'm working on to getting a full SNES collection.
