Ah, didn't know that. I havn't been inside a HMV in.. err god knows how long. With that 30% off they can finally compete with online retailers xD |
check a few closing down store if are near buy!
But at least now £199 is official!
Switch!!!
139£ would be a good price for the premium set. I doubt that pricecut is enough to clear the inventory, but everything is possible.

Yeah. It's quite sad really. I went in to look around last week in the one here which is one of the ones closing. Everything that much off and then they still have all the pre-order materials out for GTAV.... It's like they don't want to move all that as that would be total acceptance of the situation. |
Idd, I used to always pop into HMV and check out the latest games, music and movies. But those days seem long gone now with retailers (even ones with massive chains) dropping like flies. I mean you could see it coming, the prices that were on offer were just so uncompetiive compared to the rest of the market. And with the massive growth in online sales and digital distribution they were just left in the dust.
Wow, that is a good price.
Yet they're still selling copies of Gravity Rush for £35. Screw you, HMV.

What the hell, its even cheaper in Game (and thats saying something).
Btw Gravity Rush is "free" on Playstation Plus, along with Uncharted. And Metal Gear Solid HD Collection - for this month.
£199 + game seems exactly what it should be going for. If Nintendo did this with a big advertising push I reckon they would fly off the shelves. I could see myself getting one even knowing there aren't many games I want to play on it out yet. I'll be dropping into HMV next week to see this.
