Who feels sillier after learning the truth. The man who laughs at a magic trick until it's proven a miracle or the man who believes a miracle to be later revealed as a hoax?
It looks too good to be CG to me. If it turns out to be CG I'll cheer Kojima for a job well done. If it goes the other way everyone who believed it GG will be disapointed. Either way I can't stand cryptic marketing campaigns like this. So much discussion over so little info and hype that nothing can live up to.

I think he's wrapped up to hide his identity and the interview is weird because he wasn't there in person. It was just edited together. Personally I can't stand cryptic marketing campaigns like this. Sure it gets people talking, but it causes so much confusion and hype that when the truth comes out people are always disappointed because their expectation were so high. |
Really? Did you see "Avatar", "The Hobbit"or Davey Jones from the Pirate Movies? There were some quite realistic CGI characters - and world. Unless you say those doing count as they were motion capture.
Some impressive CGI from Avengers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZsEwUuBjio&feature=player_embedded

Of course I'm impressed by those movies. But you can always tell when it's the human face. In your Avengers link there is not noe close up of a human CG face. And that's a movie with hundreds millions of dollars spent on state of the art super computer renders. The Fox Engine is a real time video game engine. I have a hard time believing that the Fox Engine can do what even Avatar blue cat people can't. Anything is possible and if it turns out to be CG I'll be damn impressed. I just don't see enough evidence to prove to me that Kojima has done in real time what the biggest movies from Hollywood have yet to do.
If Joakim ends up being CGI I will be stunned
But personally I think he was definitely real
