Oh yeah? Then how come Lord Vader bravely faced the terrorist Skywalker in single combat at Cloud City, even managing to chop off his hand as a small measure of justice for all those lives lost on the Death Star?

As for the Emperor, clearly Skywalker used his nefarious mind control tricks to confuse Lord Vader, who was already weakened from being near death.
