I finally remembered to screencap the before and after stuff, just in case. The recent changes are all after week 9.

These are the numbers before I checked the sales listed for previous weeks:

So they added over 20k WiiU sales in the States in 6 weeks. Let me know if any of the numbers are off.

Interesting considering they overtracked by 200k in December...

I don't get why they adjusted up the sales for the weeks before by some margin, then expect them to drop way back down again this week.

They usually do that when a game is about to release. they say it's expectations for the game. people waiting till the game releases to pick up the console.

I suspect they'll have much higher numbers for the next few weeks in the wake of MH3U and Lego City coming out. Wouldn't be surprised if they end up overshooting March as a result. XD

3DS dropping from over 43k Feb 23 down to 29k the next week. Yeeeeeaaaaahhhh.

Yeah exactly, my point wasn't aimed solely at Wii U. 

The tracking system certainly leaves much to be desired.

VGChartz sales number no longer mean anything

Well, adding 20k sales can be taken as a good thing or a "nobody cares" thing. You must choose what side you are on.
