talking about the system! Alot of people dont kno it yet O.o Anyway there are more deals if ya want to kno, check the NintenDomination thread! Sales this week, buy 2games get 1 free from target! Meaning buy MH3U+Lego City= Free game!

I REALLY hope my Target has LCU and Monster Hunter when I go on Wednesday/Thursday. Talk of supply constraints and the fact that these are the first games for Wii U out in months has me worried. I have never taken advantage of their B2G1 deals, but these two games are just too much to pass up. I just need to figure out what the third game will be. I don't have the Vita or 3DS, but I can pick literally anything else.

Suggestions?

I really hope this is good news for the Wii U, sales wise. I haven't been able to buy one yet due to money being in short supply, but I am planning on buying one eventually .

I will play my 3DS everywhere, shuttle to the university, on the university, on the food court. Everywhere.

Well, MH3U is definitly the must-have game for the Wii U.

They shouldve bundled Lego City too, happy to know this is selling respectable numbers
Dont have many faith on these games anyway...
Give us Mario kart already...

The Wii U version is currently on #27, very good news. Unfortunately Lego City drop down to #40 during the night.

How strange.  Still I expect both to debut with respectable 100k units.

It already looks like this is what's going to happen.  See, all that Nintendo WiiU needed was something called games.  And not just quickie, throwaway shovelware either; but genuine, honest efforts.  Interestingly, both of these two titles are third party titles (Lego City may be published by Nintendo, but it's still technically third party).

I wonder whether the LEGO City/Monster Hunter boost will be a brief  bump or whether it will raise baseline sales in the long term...

Probably a momentary bump, as both are niche but still highly anticipated titles.  There are other titles gamers are anticipating as well.  Those will cause for similar bumps.  Mario 3D, Zelda WWHD, and Mario Kart will be the real baseline sale lifters though, even if both are a bit off toward the Q3-Q4 period.

Since when are Lego games niche ? >.>

Not surprising in my opinion. When you go through a Game Drought (and you want games, badly) anything will look good.

It looks like you can pre-order both versions together on Amazon for only $80. That's not bad.
