So exactly how the Titles says..... WTF is going on? Are all these games below expectations (exception of Tomb Raider/Fire Emblem/Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch/DMC)

84 & 81 are dam good scores for games. anything above 70% i consider certainly worth purchasing

I have slowly started to realize that game reviewers aren't actually that good at their job. I use youtube reviewers now, as sad as that sounds.

just bolsters my stance on not trusting games reviews 100%, if I find a game interesting I will either download a demo(if available), look at videos, or trust posters who I know are fans of the genre and what they say about it.

there is no WOW factor this late in a gen. the graphics and scope have been pushed as far as they can go. if a games graphics and scope are that of an early 2012 game it gets marked down bcoz reviewers are stupid. but an 81 & 84 isnt bad

never said it wasnt good but lots of games seem to be less than what they should be. Like GoW:A is 79 right? Maybe it should be around 85-90?

No one really trust game reviewers this late in the generation

I always kinda followed my gut but after Resistance 3 got an 83 metacritic and became probably my favorite FPS of all time (don't play MP) I disregarded them almost entirely, especially when earlier that year Infamous 2 got the same score when I felt it was one of the best games this gen.

Do they really trust them in the begining? If so... why?

im 8 hours into god of war, and anything under a 87 is just unreasonable for this game
