WOW, $200 million for 1 game is huge. That's more than what most movies cost to develop these days :0.

I really have no grasp on how much things cost to develop lol, but it does sound like a ton of money. Though, I'm guessing EA was hoping to make it all back through subscriptions.

If the 120 million dollars is already spent money it matters little how much they can recover.

With that budget I think is almost suicide to make the game a PS4 exclusive (unless it's late in the console's life). It's still a FF game so the sales will probably be high no matter when the game launches, but if the PS4 under preforms then this will be a very risky move by Square.
