I've only played the first two missions, I'll report when I've had more time with the game.

I wonder if how Blizzard have handled the game is a factor. I've only played a small amount of wings of liberty but usually they come out with all the campaigns in 1 game instead of 3.

Maybe some reviews sites are waiting to see other reviews before uploading their own. Not sure if its a bad sign or not.

I haven't finished it yet. So far I really like it though. It feels alot different than the terran campaign, but not in a bad way. I am usually not a fan of "hero" units for RTS's or missions that dont involve base building. So far they have used a lot of both, but it has been fun and enjoyable. I haven't tried the new multiplayer yet though. I dont like the new layout for the menus and stuff though.

The campaign is basically the same length, the originals had like 30 missions 10 each race. WoL had 30 missions with one race (except when you controlled other races for bits).

I like the original campaigns story a lot more, and I'm burnt out of playing starcraft, I'm going to wait a while.

The new units are copied BW units (Lurker, Defiler, Arbiter, Firebat, Vulture) but less depth of strategy and more ridiculous "counter" units.

The campaign feels nothing like playing Zerg. It was basically Terran expansions #2 with Raynor and Kerrigan everywhere. Terran missions always put you in gimmicky scenarios and stopped you from playing an actual strategy game and this continues that even though multiplayer Zerg is about building an actual swarm. And please stop with this overdramatic, cinematic, expensive, far too long to release story. No one cares about the 'feelings' of Kerrigan.

All the features should have been on WoL release, such as being able to resume a game if their servers go down, and they still haven't caught up to Starcraft I with custom game lobbies, no DRM, lagless cross region play, full window chat channels, and the ability to play casually without endless queues (good luck playing anything outside the top 5 custom maps).

I'm so fucking done with Blizzard.

I only play Nintendo Blizzard Riot games.

wings of liberty was meh

I agree with Quarter to Three's complaints about the campaign, but the thing is, the crux of SC has always been the gameplay and multiplayer component, which if anything are in a much better state than they were in WoL, so the 4/10 is clearly just for hits. Gaming journalism is in such a pathetic state as of late, i really don't know what's happening.

already beat the campaign it was fun as hell. time to jump on ladder :D...also if anyone here on vgc needs help with the multiplayer hit me up

incorrect. Blizzard say far more people just play for single player. Honestly competitive multiplayer is a niche, hardcore gaming pursuit.

Great Addon so far
Quarter to Three is hungry for hits - They probably didn't have a clue what they are doing.
Gaming "Journalism" is on its lowest point ever probably .- Sadly some believe in those reviews and maybe won't buy such an amazing experience.
