Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft 1st Party - Next Gen New IPs? Filling the Gaps? Speculate!

I don't know what the other studios are up to, but if Lionhead makes a Kinect Black & White I'll have no choice but to coerce someone into buying me a Nextbox.

More than 300 people work at 343 industries. That was back in September 2012. Right now, there are still 13 positions to fill.

Woah, thats a lot. Could easily be making 2 games at once!

I won't lie, part of the reason I don't have a 360 is that Halo is the only non-XBLA exclusive they have that interests me. If they come through with a few more core IPs, however, I might have to consider the 720. I know Halo is enough for some, but I've never had enough extra money to justify another console for one franchise.

Microsoft might be going in big with next generation, even bigger than the 360. Producing more exclusive games is not a bad idea at all, especially since they won't have a head start.

New games obviously is what I want to see.

I would love to see an open world RPG title and a action / hack n slash comparable to God of War from MS. I think both of those could be big money makers for the next Xbox

If Crytek's Ryse is still in the works, I am betting that will meet one of those criteria, plus be Kinect 2.0 heavy.

Im not quite sure what to think about Ryse.

On one hand its Crytek who are pretty awesome and the setting looks cool.  On the other its a Kinect game.  And I really like Kinect for fun group stuff like Dance Central and Kinect Sports but Im just not sure how to make it work really well with a core game. not that Im saying it cant be done I just dont know how exactly It would work

didn't they dropped the Kinect gameplay and made it a "regular" game?
I think this will be a "better with Kinect" thing.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I want Lionhead to get on with Black & White 3 for Kinect and Fables of Amalur, like Kain_Kusanagi said.

most likely kinect games, interested to see what Black tusk studios are doing though.

Controller plus kinect.  Better with kinect titles. Not sure but I believe Ryse is one of those games.  My honest opinion, but I dont think a core game can be done with kinect only.  You have to be able to move and with out analog sticks you cant.
