Surely they can't put a fake studio together? Do Konami really want to waste money like that?

If you consider it some kind of advertisement, well, companies tend to invest money on that. Whether it is a good kind of advertisements that is arguable, but if you think about it, the fact that we are here talking about this, kind of shows that it is creating some kind of discussion about this game.

Also, seems Geoff is going to talk to some guy, Kojima may be simply paying some guy to play the farse, I don't think he would be spending too much money on this in reality, don't you think?

I'm not sure if is needed, in the kind of places where this is going to be reported, the name Metal Gear is enough to get everyone excited anyway

I guess Geoff isn't saying where he is going, I just assumed he would interview him in their studio, but if it is just one guy coming and pretending to be the head of this studio, then that is more reasonable
