Forums - Nintendo - Square Enix bringing unannounced Wii U game to PAX East (Deus Ex: Human Revolution DC all but confirmed)

I still have my original Deux Ex copy for PC, it was a great game back then...i might pick this up eventually.

Hopefully this will have enough appeal to WiiU owners; Square-Enix is a very viable publisher and it would be great to have them aboard... well, the Japanese branch anyway.  I could care less about their Western branch.  Still, they ARE giving us DQX as well, so... anything else from them's gotta be a bonus.

Here's the thing though, Square-Enix's Eidos Branch has been more valuable in the West this Gen aside From FFXIII, Hitman: Absolution, Tomb Raider (will in all likelyhood in the future), and Deus Ex all have outsold everything they've put out west since FFXIII, while being a critical success as well. If you include Japan Home Consoles FFXIII-2 is similar in sales to the eidos games.

So from a health of the Wii-U standpoint it would seem that side would be more valuable especially in the west. And there's no reason the whole SE shouldn't just support it. Granted, Deus Ex is a 1.5 year old game and dirt cheap now so I'd be perplexed at them picking that one and only that, and none of the others, especially Tomb Raider, being's it runs on the same engine, is newer, is shorter and less complex, has current hype and and better graphics.

Obviously what games you personally want from SE, isn't related to these numbers at all.

This is $15 or less on other platforms, so I wonder how much they'll try to sell it for. Selling Mass Effect 3 and Arkham City at full price was pretty ballsy, but a two year old game for $60 would be ricockulous.

I'll say.  They could've afforded to make it less expensive.  Still it's remarkable that AC did as well as it did, selling about 120k worth.  That's more than ME3 could ever go.  The best they can do is price it affordably, like $40.

So far we pretty much in agreement that Deus Ex is the game?

We'll see.  That German reporter may be a false one, but it could be right as well.  Either way, I'm all for Square-Enix support.

And I doubt this is what the FF leak in Miiverse was.

Here in the UK, the original versions are currently listed on Amazon for £5.50 on PC, £7.75 on 360, and £8.81 on PS3,

I'm expecting it to be around £40 at least, which means I could almost get two copies of each of the above versions for the same price.

VGChartz

It should be on EShop for maximum of 19,99 (maybe 14,99 in first week of availability). Everything else is kind of bullshit. At least SE then can complain that their games dont sell on Nintendo home consoles. ^^
