I would say switch Japan and NoA's numbers for this game, because Luigi's Mansion for the Gamecube sold better in NoA.

Next Level Games is making a nice name for themselves working with Nintendo. Mario Strikers and Punch-Out! were good but if LM2 is good and sells well, it elevates them up a notch or two on the Nintendo totem pole for sure.

Perhaps Luigi's Mansion 3 for Wii U is next.

have you been seeing Japan charts? Luigi is topping charts in COMG+Amazon Japan

In my opinion, that doesn't say very much.  

Japan is the big 3DS market though whereas the US was the main GameCube market so that'll probably switch.

Nintendo should go ahead and greenlight Next Level to make Luigi's Mansion 3 for Wii U and Punch-Out!! for the 3DS (bring back Mike Tyson! He'd probably sign over his rights for a few bucks, lol).

i dont kno, Amazon japan has had Luigi's Mansion in the top 5 for awhile now! But i do believe NoA will be way bigger in the end still! Im hoping this games exceed 5mil lifetime!

I really want to get it, though I'm going to have to do some research before I decide if I want to get it at full price. I feel like it's going to have to have at least three or four times the content of the first one with a lot of replayability to be worth it for me. (I'm a pretty stingy guy.)
