Do you think Humanity will ever be united? not seperated by meaningless borders and invisible lines? I know this won't happen within my lifetime or for many generations but maybe one day in the distant future we could all unite and bring all of our resources together to make humanity an even greater species than it already is.

Politically, I consider myself to be an anarcho-capitalist. Thus, I think the ideal state of political organization for all people would be a stateless free market society. There would be no borders or governments. People would associate and work with each other on a completely voluntary basis.

I would consider that a much much more untied world compared to what we have today. Ultimately, I think we will move towards this in the distant future, but it is a slow process.

Now if you are referring to a "united" world in terms of a world government then I would say that it is a terrifying idea, and I hope that we never even get close to something that destructive (things are bad enough as it is).

Wow only one comment after an hour I guess no one wants to talk about it. :*(

I think it will happen. If you look at the free nations of the world, things get better with every generation. The internet is exposing people in oppressed nations that they could be free if they took down their crappy leaders. When all the nations of the world are free then we will naturally melt together. We will never get rid of the different cultures, but every generation is more tolerant than the last so eventually all the different cultures will get along and except the differences.

What would really get things moving in the right direction is a universal language. I vote for English because it's versatile and I wouldn't have to learn a new language.

I've always wondered why each language has it's own brand of sign language. I mean nearly everyone on the planet can nod their head for yes or shake it for know and it doesn't matter what language you speak. Shouldn't there just be one sign language? If there was one universal sign language and everyone on the planet learned it as a kid we would all be able to communicate with each other with at last sign language. Not only would we all be able to communicate with the deaf we would be able to break all language barriers. It's a win win.

That will never happen. All of the conflict in human history is because of differences. Differences of opinion, religion, customs, appearance, you name it. Until we are all the exact same, there will never be complete peace.

Conflict is in the heart of man. It'll never happen.

Only if we have a common enemy.

As Elrond says: You will unite or you will fall.

It's inevitable. And it will be world government.

Ha Ha, anarcho-capitalism the best way to ensure the total subjugation of the majority of the human race under the tyrannical control of an elite oligarchy. Lord of the flies writ large upon the world.
