- Confusing "apart" and "a part"

- Making long posts when it's not necessary.
- Refusing to use capital letters (bananaking)
- Confusing lifetime sales with LTD sales.
- Using an incorrect definition of "atheism"

Listen up Dodece.

I agree with all of those too. I was going to also mention using big words when it isn't necessary.

Just thought of another one:

whole/hole : I've been nice to you this hole time.

AAAAAAAAA!!! This thread makes me want to become a grammar nazi!

I'm not much of a grammar Nazi. I believe that the overriding purpose of language is communication and if that purpose is served, I'm usually not very annoyed.

However ...the constant abuse... of the ellipsis that I see ... it bugs the heck out of me ... how can people think it's the correct way to type... I mean ... it makes no sense ...it's even a pain to type that way ... why do they do it ... do they just love periods that much... or are they at war with the comma?

I don't really have any. I have bad spelling and grammar my self so it's hard for me to get upset about others. Especially online in what I consider a less formal way of communicating.

I see a lot of people mix up woman and women. The former is singular and the latter is plural. It's like they forgot what they were taught in grade school. Also, like the OP mention, people saying "I could care less" infuriates me.

Nothing is worse than would of/should of/could of. How the fuck can you not know what the word "of" means?!

Also, when the phrase "for all intents and purposes" is mangled into "for all intensive purposes".

yeah, those would be my two biggest.

I don't really care if people type bad. As long as I can understand it. We live in a world of speed and laziness. It will always happen. And spell check won't correct misuse of words like payed and paid in a sentence. It's called spell check. Not Grammer Nazi check. Although, I do hate it when people capitalize every word.

What's their to be angry about? I could care less about all the grammatical nonsense. As long as unit sales are updated, they're is no reason for me to worry about spelling. Your just being overly critical. Yeah this sight can be quiet the ground for spelling errors, but that's no reason to hate.

Now cringe you fuckin' grammar Nazis! CRINGE!
