Seems like you're all blowing this off a lot more than you should given how close they are pre-GoW and pre-price cut for PS3 (don't when that'll happen but it's probably coming this year.  I know 3DS is getting software as well but I still think it's debateable.  MH4 will be big, but only in Japan.  LoU might be big since it's a new IP or it could flounder for the same reason.  The timing of PS3 price cut is essential in this debate.  If they do it at E3 I think it will be ahead until Pokemon.

Nooooope, Remember AC in Japan? The sales for 3DS were monstrous, wat do you think will happen wen MH4 comes in japan?

PS3 will get maybe a week or two in sales ahead but only on a week were there is absolutely no 3DS titles and a great line up for PS3!

Price cut wont matter, it'll help sales but it wont beat 3DS

Even with the announcement of the PS4 and the inevitable announcement of the 3DSi this year? I think not. I'll give it a couple of weeks on top in the event of a price cut, but I don't see games like GOW and TLOU moving many units, tbh. Not enough to negate the Monster Hunder effect in Japan.

Do Not Underestimate MH4 on 3DS, just look at AC new leaf!

3DS will skyrocket wen this game comes out, PS3 wont stand a chance which ever week it comes out+ at least the next 2-3 weeks after

Don't underestimate GoW. MH is only big in Japan and the total numbers of both franchises are comparable.

If there is a pricecut then it has a chance to outsell the 3DS. Obviously.

I was going off no price-cut. If there is none then there won't be a chance.
