Camilla Luddington deserves a parade. One of the best single player campaigns I've played. Lara kicks ass. That first million will be sold shortly.

Thanks Ns.

Since the passing of the gamerscore league............ i hardly see you post here buddy. (still, the core of the gamerscore league lives on over at TA now)

Anyway, you are spot on man, it's without doubt one of the best campaigns out there today, i absolutely LOVED this game, going back to grab the remaining collectables was actually a PLEASURE, not a chore.

I highly doubt it. Its false hype just like what EA did with Crysis 3, saying how preorders were up 33% but the sales sure as hell weren't.

It will probably do 450k PS3, 400K 360 for the first week.

Well its a reboot, different from previous alternation of lara, I mean different in a better way, Yes its Exploration centric, less combat, though using bow and arrow is sweet,  yes its gritty and sometimes too gruesome, but the story wise the game is weak, No character development at all. i Dont want to give out spoilers but the level which i m playing right now feels like a leaf taken out Uncharted 2 among theives Monestary level, even the plot structure is same as UC2. But any which ways its fun to be not playing as Nathan Drake for a change.

That is exactly what I thought too.  I was like well this seems familiar.  It's pretty obvious TR has some elements that were inspired by UC.  I even thought the music sounded a little Uncharted like.  It's not a bad thing because TR is easily my favorite game of 2013 so far.

Funny, I have played that trilogy and I am not experiencing any deja vu. Since when did Uncharted have actual exploring, open world elements, or survival elements? Since when did Uncharted drop the Gears/CoD style corridor maze with wave after wave of mindless enemies for the tense encounters you have in TR? I must have missed that Uncharted game.

The only thing I have noticed that seem similar in both games is the music(a little bit) and maybe just the way some of the buildings in TR look a little like UC2 monestary, but thats it.   UC and TR have borrowed things from each other, which is a good thing to me.

Crystal Dyanamics made lara croft everyman hero, thats not Lara croft i know, for me thats Nathan Drake fumbling and faltering. Lara croft I knew had a near superhuman ability and agility. Make cinematic set peices for her to escape from using QTE, again thats uncharted for me. if u say there arent any wave of mindless enemy in Tomb raider then i have to say it isnt in uncharted either.

The only difference between Underworld and Tomb Raider is uncharted. Thats why series needed a reboot. Naughty dog took what tomb raider did and made it better and  crystal dynamics took what uncharted did best and made it better with Tomb Raider. No matter how much people say that they have played uncharted but didnt get any Uncharted vibe from TR, clearly states that they havent played Uncharted.

For me Uncharted influence on a TR is a good thing. Hopefully after TR, Naughty dogs will know what they should have done in UC3, instead sticking to "if not broken, dont fix it" formula. Now they have a clear benchmark and what people expect from them in Uncharted 4. Sometime it takes others point of view  to improve upon ur own work. So I wont be surprised if ND take the TR formula couple of notches up in UC4

I will probably get this game and Gow Ascencion next week.

I gave up on  the TR franchise after 'The angel of Darkness", but I'll give the new game a try.

the power of reviews is strong in this one. Why people change so much their opinion just because the OPINION OF OTHERS?? I really don't get it.

Why do people who have never played a game change their opinion based on the opinion of professional reviewers who actually have played the game?

Is that what you're asking?

what abt gaurdian things protecting their dynasty in uncharted 2? (if u know what i mean).

Ya that too.  TR has always had some sort of supernatural stuff in the story though too.  The guardians in TR seem a hell of a lot more scary than the ones in UC2
