I'm a little worried. If they drop the ball on the graphics chip, I will be very sad. I doubt they will, but time will show. They were super innovative on the 360, as they were with the original Xbox. Then added Kinect, open Kinect up to more developers.

They are, in my opinion, the most innovative gaming company right now. Kinect is fun and very useful. If the specs on Kinect 2.0 are close to right, it will be a nice upgrade. I can't imagine not being able to talk to my console and have it do my bidding.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

I've bought both XBoxes. I am very concerned about this next one. Bioware games - gone multiplat with EA. Mistwalker - contract up, now working with Nintendo. Bungie - independent now. Fable - last game was a lemon and studio head left. As a gamer, there is only the former piece of Bungie that is now 343 and Forza to be excited about. Gears may go multiplat. Then there is the realistic scenario that the system will be a bloated mess, promoting Windows 8 and costing alot and/or requiring an expensive subscription. Very concerned.

On the flip side, Kinnect 2 navigating menues like in a sci-fi movie could be cool, if it worked.

If all those rumors are true, it would be a disaster. But I'd be shocked if they were all true. An always-online media box that won't play used games? Sounds like a nightmare.

The only rumor that you listed that I hope is true is that the next Xbox will be less powerful than PS4. I'd rather Microsoft invest that hardware money elsewhere.
