So I've been playing through Crysis 3 on Xbox 360 and I have to say I'm super impressed.  I personally found Crysis 2 to be a pretty big disappointment when it came out but Crysis 3 is a huge improvement in just about every area.  The level and art design is top notch, strong voice acting, and great gameplay.

Im on the final chapter now and its been a great shooter.  The dialog between Psycho and Prophet is also pretty top notch and surprising as usually I dont find the writing all that great in FPS.  Overall I have to applaud Crytek for making a pretty great FPS.

Im starting to think we are the only two on Vgchartz with any interest in this game.  I litteraly see no one else here talking about it.  Which is a shame really as Crytek really fixed most of the problems there were in Crysis 2.

i haven't played it yet but i will buy it anytime, i even bought the first two games at release but i just don't buy many games at release anymore as long as they don't have the name the last of us, bioshock, halo or when i buy them for multiplayer like battlefield.

Yeah I know and its really unfortunate that game turned out how it did since it was the first Crysis on consoles.  I think a lot of console gamers were turned off from the franchise due to that game thinking that was the only way Crysis played.  3 is such an improvement I hope people give it a chance

Crytek need to make a real licenced Predator game preferably against the US military it would be EPIC and Crysis 3 shows they could do it.

Crysis 3 was really good, I thought the campaign was much better than 2. And the great voice acting and dialogue between Prophet and Psycho was something special. The game exceeded my expectations in every way, and I loved the way the game ended.
The multiplayer is also very enjoyable though I feel the bow is a bit OP.

I ended up liking it a lot, hacking turrets and turning them on enemies  is always awesome. The story while hammy, imo was the best in the series which isn't saying much, but hey.

The AI seems stupider than before. I have picks of enemies looking for me in stealth and they face a wall. I just beat crysis 2 before beating this and though the ai was dumb It didn't seem this dumb. 

It's too short, it was like 2/3rds as long as crysis 2 which was shorter than crysis 1.

I liked the way the cover system in crysis 2 worked to where you went behind things or on a corner and then you could right click to pier over it. They tooked that out correct? I couldn't figure out how to do it.

But it's still a good FPS.

The game gets much better the farther you get into it.  It really starts hitting its stride about halfway through.

And yes Sleeping Dogs is a fantastic game as well, cant wait for the sequel
