Notice I did not at all deny that scum likely got the same style PM, rather, that town (especially a newcomer) would be likely less hesitant to reveal the PM style. But we already got two people arguing that the PM style is pretty much the same for everyone, something, again, I never ruled out.

I feel that mafia games are filled with double, tripple and quadruple crosses. I feel that I'm not fully in command of how the different roles will impact how this plays out, I feel that people are fronting that they are more convinced of certain things than thay really are and I feel that so far, the 'most likely to be scum' award goes to nen-suer.

Spurge is always a crazy person, but this "ping" doesn't make any sense at all - as a rule, I try to stay clear of declaring "suspicion" from the first few posts, but this definitely feels like a player trying to get rid of my early. This is what Mario did throughout last round, and he turned out to be Mafia

Townie points to Stefl for the miller claim ( and picking up on my PM reference) . It would be a bold tactic to do right at the start as scum, as a possible town-rolecop (not out of the question even though rare- it's a big game) would pick him as a primary target, and other roles.

I disagree with Hatz point about newb scum being less likely to do it. His post was within a very short space of time of the thread being opened and PM's being given. If he was scum he'd have barely checked in. Not to mention, newb scum's are more likely to be rash imo, I know i was right in the thick of it. Finally I think it was just a comment to intro with. I wouldn't read too far into it. Similarly, if i was in everyone else's position, I would give myself a small townie vibe like Stefl did, but i wouldn't give it much weight if at all. That being said, small townie vibe to BongLover. 

Hatz is too wily a player for me to give townie vibes too. I prefer to play it safe and always suspect him like Prof. 

I support an FF policy lynch if he is inactive. He lurks every single game without fail or explaination.

First game i was town i got incredibly irritated with Spurge because of it. It's just the way he plays, but he does bring up some occasional thoughts to consider.

It's mainly because I've died day 1 a couple of times because of "pings" such as this. 

I don't recall the last time that happened and I've been playing for 8 games now...
