History would tell us otherwise. After a console peaks and begins to nosedive, so does software sales tpyically. We're even seeing it now with the PS3 as nearly ever PS3 exclusive has sold less than it's predecessar.

5 mil is quiet possible considering the developer's fame and all the good impressions the game is giving to us until now.

Well, Uncharted 1 didn't have any hype helpin it when it came out. plus the PS3 was struggling and it still managed to sell 2.5 million before Uncharted 2 came out.

The Last of Us has a lot of hype surrounding it, that i feel it can sell God of War numbers easily and with the 75m install base i think that's possible.
