Do the Xbox games have a mandatory online component, or are they playable offline?  Apparently one of the original Xbox titles is compatible with 360, so that's another game to add to my list of things to play when I get that console.

Seriously though, thanks for posting this.  It really got me interested in the title.  Looking forward to it now!

The Crusaders is the one that is backwards compatible, and it was single-player only anyway. Definitely worth getting if you get a 360.

And no problem! Just trying to spread the gospel of KUF!

So, google tells me this series has been an Xbox exclusive for all of its life, but this game is coming to PC/PS3?

I would've paid good money all generation to have a decent RTS to go alongside Red Alert 3, and this one has been in development all this time but still hasn't released? Rubbish.

Not too sure about the MMO parts, but it does look good.

It's been announced as a PC/360 game.
Then a few years later they included a PS3 version. Not sure what the current plan is, I also really don't care anymore. I also stopped caring about Aliens: Colonial Marines a few years ago and it was the right decision.

I know you say you're not interested anymore, but just in case you change your mind, their website (under the "information" tab) has it listed for a PC/PS3 release.

I'll wait for the reviews first, of course.  But that video looked exactly like my kind of thing.

Yeah I think they've moved from it being a singleplayer game to have an online focus now.

So targeted for an 2013 Korean PC release. Western release probably in 2014, PS3 release maybe even in 2015 ? Either way I wouldn't even count on those dates.

At least the project is still alive lol.

I hope it will have deep gameplay but I doubt it.

Considering how long it's taking them, I think it will have the deepest gameplay evarrrrrrr.

Just like Diablo 3.

Taking the series to a new low is sort of like being deep.

It's also sort of like failure. Utter, crushing failure and disappointment.

If you've been waiting for it for that long then I can understand your lost interest.

Let's just say I did the 360 exclusive (and console exclusive) list on VGC during 2008 - 2010 and know that there were a lot of games on it every year that were postponed to a later date.

When there is one thing I learned from this gen, it is that MMO games on PS360 (and to a lesser extent Wii) just don't seem to work that well.
Tons of MMOs were announced for consoles, next to none made it.
If I had to make a list of games again today (multiplat) I wouldn't even bother listing it.
