Resistance ( all of them ) suck so bad they shouldnt be in anyones top 200 FPS games.

Infamous - anoter wierd choice. Needs to improve alot.




1. Gears Of War - Reinvented the TPS. Perfect controls, amazing cover system. Best selling new comer series.

2. Mass Efect - How a brilliant genre can be expanded into REAL role playing

3. Alan Wake - The game all other horror/ Phsycological games this gen should have been. Especialy Resident Evil, which was atrocious next to Alan Wake.

4. Uncharted - Although sometimes lacking idenntity, this series are gorgeous visuals and helped define what a cinematic linear game is and how it should be done.

5. Wii Sports - defined a generation of competiton with millions. You may not like motion controls, but this game was huge competitive fun.

I ended up buying the resistance trilogy and they are not my cup of tea.

Sorry I find it hard o believe with resistance. The guns sound bad, and are poorly designed. The story is pretty bad to. But the worst bit is the lack of direction in the level design and lack of FPs satisfaction you get from shootin stuff. I just cant believe a game with so many fundamental design isues an low budget feel can enter the list all on a serious level.

You're the type of person who believe sales = quality, as I can see from your previous comment.

Quality is a perception thing. How do you guage quality?

If many people are prepared to spend hard earned money on someting and then recommend that thing to someone else also is it not valued as quality by many people? Sales do reflect the quality of a title to the masses. Not for everyone, but people vote with their wallets.
