For gods sake.. NO, its not going to happen.. And Sony did NOT sell 77 million either. But even if they did, the notion is just absurd. I'm getting sick of this same ridiculous topic popping up. I'll say it again to make sure it soaks in, NOT going to happen. Just make peace with it already, for yours and my sake.

Honestly, You're gonna get second, Sony fans. Is that not good enough?

Playstation is, was, and always will be #1. Deal with it. :P

#1 in your hearts sure, but that isnt something real....more abstract really :P

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I'm guessing you're referring to 360 gamers since they are inevitably the last place console... but yes, it IS fascinating.

You! I've missed you :3

X360 had an entire year headstart and cost less so what did you expect? MS was too desperate that they released an incomplete X360 (No wifi, no HDMI out, no mandatory HDD) just to compete. And let's not speak about the embarrassing failure rate at the first few years.

But isn't that double-edged? Sony released an overprice console that were supossed to sell based only on the name. It was not until some price cuts and additions when they started winning market share. Both parts did horrible when releasing their consoles.

Only this gen can the last place gamers act like winners.

But not today. So really, PS fans been counting chickens before they hatch since 2006. Sigh.

Just because other swimmers currently have more golds, we still know Phelps is going to crush them all in 9 of the final 10 events.

The PS3 never added/removed anything important. It cost much because it had a built in BluRay drive. And they were selling at great losses so you should be greatful.

I am not grateful for a company to having bad financial years xD I'm just saying they also did bad in their releasing. One could argue that Microsoft was by far the worst one, but considering Sony's trayectory as a gaming company, they screwed up really badly at the beggining.

They had been adding things to the Ps3 since it was released, things with value. Important things. =P

Really? I always thought 73 million was < 99 million.

Must be the power of TEH CELL :P

PS3, the late bloomer! ;)

LOL I get you but there is a huge difference between harming yourself and harming your customers. Sony's mistakes were self-harming. Whereas Microsoft harmed their customers :)

Mind to clarify what are those important changes?

Edit: I remember now.. "backwards compatibility" >_______< PHAK!!! Still.. that doens't affect "it's future"

Dammit, you edit! xD

And while that's true, at least Microsoft tried to compensate their errors. You know, Microsoft is not a gaming company. They had no idea what the heck they were doing at the last gen and at the beggining of this gen (in 2008 and 2009 they were rocking the world, but I guess they just stranded far away from the path they themselves had created). I'm not saying Microsoft is the best company out of the three, but everyone's here made mistakes. The fact that Sony keeps selling ps3 like crazy means they managed to recover from their initial mistakes, but being Sony, that's what they were supposed to do.

Another thing that comes to my mind is the added trophies, and the added value of PSN through the years.
