Forums - Gaming - Crysis 3 is fun,but I'm not blown away bye it

crysis 3 is a fun game. I like the multiplayer, even though I keep getting beat down every match. I'm only at the second level in the single player story. I mean the graphics look good, but I'm not like OMG!! best graphics ever!!! I have the ps3 version. I also think some of the multiplayer maps are way to big,in my opinon. I still love the multiplayer, but nothing really stands out from the previous 2 games. It's like an action movie that has pretty good production values, but you've seen it all before. Am,I the only one that thinks like this? To rol,how many grammar errors have I made in this post?

I don't know. After the second, which had become more than a tech-demo rather than the follow-up to the great game that Crysis 1 was, I stopped caring about this franchise. Crysis 3 seems more like an even bigger tech-demo.

i beat it the other day, it was okay, wasn't blown away by it either, since I got crysis 1 for free by pre-ordering Crysis 3 I understand why many people we turned off by Crysis 2&3. Crysis 1 seems so open.

The thing is guys, it IS a tech demo.

They want to sell their engine more than the game.

sad to here. how did the Bow play considering it was the big selling point?

Crysis = decent enough shooter + great graphics. On console you just get an ok shooter.

Sounds like Crysis 2, then. They're fun games but ultimately not very memorable. You don't think about them when you finished. With other IP, like Killzone or Halo, you have people making threads just to talk about the story, what happens and what they think is going to happen. With Crysis, it's usually just a graphics argument.

That's why I like apocalyptic and sci-fi games, that immersion into a universe and story that engages your imagination. If they don't have that, they might as well be military shooters. Rage is another example of a fun game that was let down by the generic nature of the setting. It just didn't grab you.

Not sure what his response will be, but the bow is fantastic! My new favorite weapon, in fact!

thanks

it's pretty fun,if you like to shoot from a distance. You have your regular arrow and your explosive, electrical and recon ammo types. I like to play rambo style,so I don't use it as much as the other weapons.

Personally I think the game is significantly better than Crysis 2 was
