The most annoying thing on this forum, for me, are people who deliberately enter threads they know they will offend them. Entering these threads serve no purpose other than offending yourself. It's really not that hard to resist entering a thread that you know will offend you. And since these people believe it's impossible to sway anyone from their closely guarded opinions, then why enter other than to cause trouble?

If I had my way I'd figure out a way to allow people to block all non-gaming threads. That way they can browse VGChartz without worry of being offended while others can enjoy discussion...oh wait, that feature exists.

i have no problem with people hyping up something, heck if they are hyped they are trying to help the game by speaking of it. downplaying on the other hand is just annoying. i agree its about the games, and even though i do like sony much more than the other console makers, i really dont love everything sony and hate everything MS/nintendo. i just prefer to Sony's offering much more to the other two, since now each one is taking a direction when it comes to games and the audince they want its much easier to like one more than the other

I understand that as each one has different ways of doing business but the way people trash the other consoles (not you) are annoying.  It's not just a problem with this site, but forums in general.  People behind keyboards are a completely different person than they are in real life for the most part.

Another thing that annoys me about this site  and forums is that if you like an exclusive or dislike you are either considered a fanboy or someone who hates the other console.

see the thing is, when you read something that does offend you, its really hard to try to defend youself. personally on the interenet i do manage to ignore the things that offend me, but i understand that some people cant. and since we are on the forum that does have rules against people offending others users might not accept that on here.  but just like me they didnt know that that feature does exists, though its probably their fault to not have messaged a mod disccussing the matter. 

my point is that those people do have a point of view and its quiet understandable

@bolded, thats very true, the sad part is a lot of people on here are really awesome, yet people on here would automatically hate another just for not liking the same console they like, for example one of the really great users on here who i really enjoy talking to is DanneSandin, yet a lot of sony fans are willing to hate the guy because he likes nintendo. 

@underlined and thats a problem with the interenet, not just gaming forums. go to gsmarena ( a website about mobiles) and listen to the trash talk people say in the comment section, its actually a million times worse than here
