Well I watched a video by shokio (I think some of you recognize him ;).

You know the story between EA and Nintendo.
Short version: EA wanted Nintendo to make their online service part of the origin service. Nintendo declined. EA is butthurt and don't support the Wii U anymore. That was unconfirmed and still is but Shokio analizes recent news and the conclusion is legit IMO.

Well I guess they aren't but have no other choise. Its just silly.

What are this guy's credentials? How is this any different from any other rumor about this same matter?

Yeah, I missed that obviously I just watched end of video. Does EA own the Crytek IP, like Ubisoft owns the Far Cry IP?

He is using confirmed sources and interviews to conclude the obvious. I think he's credible enough.

No EA doesn't, Crytech just has no publishing license, and most likely striked a deal with EA to be a publisher, and I doubt Nintendo wanted Crysis 3 under the Nintendo publisher label, not that I think EA would allow that anyways.
