Nintendo sabotaged Conker. Only a small amount of people who game in the world know about him. The character was too mature for kids so they kept the marketing to a minimum.

Yep. I strongly suggest that Microsoft create a character kids will grow and fall for in the new gen.

Conker BFD2 would do it, i got the N64 game when I was 10 or 11 years old... I connected to conker stonger than I ever had to Mario, he was funny, crude, foul, and awesome. A true video game role model lol.

No offense to Microsoft, but they need to stop trying to use characters that were popularized on other consoles. They need a title that is homemade that never came from anyone else so people think Microsoft when they see it. Buying Rare was a curse and they couldn't revive it.

Well looking at MS history with the xbox... its just what they do, buy up IPs and studios :/ Rare still pulled off a grabbed by the ghoulies, and kameo for xbox... And I could definately go for more conker (kameo as well........ and killer instinct) :P

I think it would be a nice gift to the fans to upload the original Conker to XBLA. It would allow a new generation to experience the game, which is one of the best from the N64 library. Plus the original N64 cartridge is awfully expensive.

I may be a little late but....Conker Live and Reloaded IS on XBox 360. It's for Games on Demand. No Achievements but it does run in HD and it's beautiful and plays well. I own the disc version and it's upscaled so it runs super sharp. The GoD version should be the same.

So, your petition worked!

You can connect online with it using xkai or xbconnect. I'm not sure if anyone plays it online using those services anymore though :/ At least the game still has bots.

I don't think the original on the 64 got much attention because it was released so late in the cycle. It didn't come out till March of 2001. The Gamecube came out just 6 months later. It would have been interesting if it had been a release title for the GC.

I didn't get live till 07, so playing with bots is what I did majority of the time anyways. So much damn fun, I would possibly put it behind Halo 2 with my favorite multiplayer game that gen.
